SAIPA Faces Funding Loss – What This Means for Our Community
SAIPA has recently been informed that our funding from the Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services will be discontinued. This funding has been essential in helping us provide services, workshops, and advocacy for people with developmental disabilities and their families in Southern Alberta.
Losing this funding means that SAIPA must quickly find new sources of support to continue our work. We are actively seeking grants, fundraising, and reaching out to community partners for help. Some grants require matching funds, which means we need donations to qualify for additional funding opportunities.
We are grateful for the community’s support and will do everything we can to keep providing our services. If you would like to help, please consider making a donation or spreading the word about our situation.
