Join us on September 15, 2023 To celebrate the strength and resilience of our community and supporting disability rights. We start at 10 am at City Hall, With a walk to Galt Gardens for a fun afternoon of Food, Entertainment and togetherness.

Advocacy Through Art
Join us at the SAIPA office for a 4 part series of using art to build your advocacy Skills. Our first session will be Chair Yoga and Meditation. After the session the group will use their advocacy skills to determine what the next session will be.
IDPD 2021
International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) is an international day promoted by the United Nations and the Government of Alberta. The aim of this day is to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of the strides that have been made for the rights of people with disabilities.
Community Organizations in Lethbridge work together to hold a local IDPD event and to hold the Lethbridge Inclusion Awards to highlight the work of individuals, organizations, and businesses for their work in ensuring an inclusive community. If you would like to nominate anyone, please use the available nomination form and send it to the listed contact information!

This 6 week curriculum is designed for self-advocates and staff to teach a sexuality education series together as a team.
